Biographisches

Claas Meyer studierte Rechtswissenschaft an der Universität Osnabrück, der Universitá degli Studi Milano und der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Den juristischen Vorbereitungsdienst absolvierte er im Kammergerichtsbezirk Berlin. Der Schwerpunkt seiner juristischen Ausbildung lag im Verwaltungsrecht.

Darüber hinaus schloss er den agrarwissenschaftlichen Masterstudiengang "Integrated Natural Resource Management" am Institut für Wirtschaft- und Sozialwissenschaften des Landbaus der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin ab.

Praktische Erfahrungen sammelte er als Mitarbeiter im Fachgebiet für Internationalen Agrarhandel und Entwicklung der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, einer auf Verwaltungsrecht spezialisierten Rechtsanwaltskanzlei und als Consultant für den Central Advisory Service on Intellectual Property, CGIAR (Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research).

Seit August 2009 arbeitet er am Leibniz-Zentrum für Agrarlandschaftsforschung.
